With EXTRAGUARD®, GORE-TEX has developed an upper material technology that combines the benefits of an extremely robust upper with those of lightweight, breathable textiles, thereby enabling the production of a completely new class of GORE-TEX safety footwear for the first time. 

The abrasion-resistant upper construction is 40 per cent lighter than leather and designed for the toughest working environments. Even under months of continuous strain and in demanding wet conditions, EXTRAGUARD® absorbs hardly any moisture from the outside. GORE-TEX safety footwear featuring the EXTRAGUARD® upper construction is exceptionally robust. 

The footwear provides reliable and safe protection against mechanical stress, everyday chemicals, heat and moisture. It retains its shape and colour and maintains its properties throughout the product’s entire lifespan.

The open-mesh knit in the forefoot area specifically promotes breathability, so you can enjoy a light and airy running experience at all times. 

Thanks to the integrated steel toe cap, ESD protection and puncture resistance, the RUNNER models are suitable for a wide range of work applications. To ensure you can run longer distances in comfort, the Sporty sole system offers both perfect grip and support, as well as shock absorption.
